Overview

GXO is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the day shift to perform diversified duties related to the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of production and facility equipment. The company values energetic and innovative individuals who contribute to a great workplace culture.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain Chucks, 6 River mobile pick units, etc.
  • Repair and maintain a wide variety of equipment associated with the facility.
  • Maintain knowledge of plant layout and current company safety and environmental policies.
  • Maintain facilities infrastructure and equipment, including carpentry, electrical, painting, plumbing, and HVAC work.
  • Perform advanced plumbing work, including installing and repairing plumbing fixtures.
  • Assist in the implementation of new processes and equipment.
  • Process products requiring testing and mechanical evaluation.
  • Complete cosmetic repairs to restore products to sellable conditions.
  • Perform scheduled routine machine maintenance and inspections.
  • Document preventive maintenance, equipment repair, and part usages.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of and experience reading simple electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic drawings.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree, specialized vocational training, or equivalent experience in product maintenance.
  • Active Journeyman license.
  • 2 years of facility maintenance experience with strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial skills.
  • Experience with tools and equipment used in building maintenance and repair.
  • Excellent communication skills with managers, employees, and vendors.
