Overview

TCR North America is seeking a skilled Service Technician/Mechanic – GSE/Diesel to join their growing team in Queens, NY. This role is essential for maintaining the performance and availability of equipment and vehicles, with opportunities for career advancement in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, adjust, and repair equipment and vehicles, including electrical, brake, hydraulic, cooling, power steering systems, and engines.
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance and inspections independently, following manufacturer and customer requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations, maintaining rigorous quality control and product integrity.
  • Act responsibly to prevent injuries, adhere to safety regulations, and promote health and safety initiatives.

Requirements

  • Valid Driver’s License required; CDL preferred but not required.
  • Must provide personal hand tools; TCR supplies specialized tools and diagnostic equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Proficiency in using mobile devices and relevant applications.
  • A solid understanding of essential safety, quality, and operational protocols.
  • A growth-oriented mindset, collaborative team spirit, eagerness to learn, strong work ethic, and integrity.
