Overview

The Structural Engineer position is a full-time role based in Rego Park, NY, focusing on the analysis and design of concrete and structural steel buildings. The engineer will manage multiple projects, ensuring compliance with building codes and effective communication with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Review project specifications and structural requirements.
  • Perform structural analysis and design calculations.
  • Prepare and review structural design drawings.
  • Document, update, and maintain project-related information.
  • Manage multiple projects while meeting schedules and deadlines.
  • Communicate and coordinate effectively with clients and project stakeholders.
  • Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes and industry standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience designing concrete and structural steel buildings.
  • Strong knowledge of applicable building codes.
  • Proficiency with structural engineering software, including SAFE, ETABS, RAM, and AutoCAD.
  • Ability to manage projects and meet established deadlines.
  • Strong technical, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Ability and willingness to make a long-term commitment to the organization.
