Overview

The Maintenance Technician III position requires a high school diploma or GED, with preferred certifications in Industrial Maintenance or related areas. The role involves performing industrial maintenance tasks with a focus on mechanical power transmission, electrical systems, and PLC controls.

Responsibilities

  • Follow procedures as directed by work orders or high-level technicians/management.
  • Interpret electrical or mechanical schematics and manufacturer’s manuals to troubleshoot and repair system faults.
  • Utilize Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software to enter and retrieve data.
  • Solve mechanical or electrical problems using engineering formulas.
  • Diagnose mechanical power transmission, electrical, or PLC/controls issues.
  • Communicate effectively with peers, managers, and outside vendors.
  • Collaborate with department, operations, vendors, and support teams.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Certificates in Industrial Maintenance/Mechatronics or related area preferred.
  • Four years of experience in Industrial Maintenance required.
  • Proficiency in mechanical power transmission, electrical systems, and PLC/Controls.
  • Welding and fabrication skills through job experience or education required.
  • Ability to follow procedures and interpret schematics.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Time management and organizational skills.
