Overview

Rivian is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician for night shifts to support vehicle repairs in a dynamic environment. The role involves collaboration, technical skills, and may require travel to various locations for vehicle support.

Responsibilities

  • Perform or assist with vehicle diagnosis, repairs, installations, and inspections.
  • Identify and explain the Rivian product line and tools.
  • Utilize technical resources to follow Rivian repair procedures.
  • Conduct road tests to ensure repair quality.
  • Manage parts operations including ordering and inventory.
  • Provide feedback for improvement to senior technicians.
  • Support service campaigns and initiatives.
  • Document all work and technical notes.
  • Work collaboratively with a team and maintain high-quality work.
  • Communicate professionally in customer-facing situations.
  • Stay current with technical skills and complete required training.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or recognized equivalency credential preferred.
  • Proficient in using hand tools and power tools.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to drive a non-commercial truck and trailer preferred.
  • Available for a 40-hour work week including weekends and holidays.
  • Proficient with laptops or computers in Windows or Mac environments.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Fluent in reading and speaking English.

Additional Information

  • Night shift schedule is Monday through Friday from 5pm to 2am.
  • Position includes a 15% pay differential for hours worked between 6:00p - 6:00am.
