Overview

Nexus Circular is a leader in advanced recycling technology, converting landfill-bound plastics into sustainable feedstocks for virgin plastic production. They are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support their maintenance department through routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facilities.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Test and calibrate equipment and machinery.
  • Perform major repairs and machine overhauls as necessary.
  • Support maintenance vendors with routine visits.
  • Perform cycle counts of maintenance spare parts.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping of maintenance activities through CMMS system.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities with production and operations teams.
  • Adhere to safety and housekeeping protocols.
  • Keep up-to-date with equipment manuals and training materials.
  • Assist with the installation of new equipment and machinery.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent in industrial maintenance, mechanical engineering, or electrical engineering.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance or related field.
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools and diagnostic equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Good understanding of safety protocols and regulations.
