Job Description

Overview

The Technician, Assembly Test II position involves performing maintenance, adjustment, and testing of various aircraft systems according to technical specifications and FAA regulations. This role is for the 2nd shift and is located in Grand Prairie, Texas.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance, adjustment, and/or certify/test of various aircraft systems in accordance with technical specifications, engineering instructions and FAA regulations.
  • Tear down, clean parts and assemblies as required.
  • Prepare documentation, including service reports and test data.
  • Operate test equipment as required by the OEM maintenance manuals and other work instructions.
  • Paint parts.
  • Perform minor repairs operations to piece parts.
  • Read, interpret and execute OEM manual, mechanical drawings, service bulletins and work instructions in English.
  • Comply with all company policies, including attendance.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Two years of mechanical experience involving similar equipment processes, measuring tools and assembly operations (preferred).
  • Entry level positions available; on the job training provided.
  • Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, mechanical drawings, standard gages and other measuring devices in English.
  • Able to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Knowledgeable with a wide range of tools.
  • Computer proficient in Microsoft office products.
  • Good mechanical knowledge.

Additional Information

  • This position is for 2nd shift: Mon - Thursday 3pm - 11:30PM, Friday 2pm - 10:30pm.
  • Shift times may change per site objectives.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
