Overview

Eaton’s IS AER FED division is seeking a Quality Inspector for the 1st shift in Glenolden, PA. The role involves conducting inspections of aerospace engine components to ensure compliance with design requirements and customer specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct receiving, in-process, and final inspections of aerospace engine components.
  • Perform dimensional and visual inspections using precision measuring instruments.
  • Read and interpret complex engineering drawings.
  • Understand and apply GD&T requirements.
  • Evaluate product characteristics against aerospace standards and specifications.
  • Maintain accurate inspection records.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of two years experience in manufacturing and/or military environment.
  • Minimum of two years experience reading and interpreting blueprints.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Thorough knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Ability to use precision measurement equipment such as micrometers and calipers.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • This is a 1st shift position with core hours of 7 am - 3:30 pm, M-F.
  • The hourly rate for this position is $24.00 per hour.
  • This position is classified as a safety sensitive role and is subject to random drug and alcohol testing.
