Overview

ContiTech is a leading industry specialist offering connected, environment-friendly solutions across various sectors. The Hose Assembly Technician will perform hose assembly production tasks efficiently while ensuring safety, quality, and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Assume responsibility for the assembly and testing of products.
  • Adhere to all ContiTech policies and procedures as outlined in the company handbook.
  • Follow the regular production plan to meet customer product delivery requirements.
  • Read, interpret, and follow basic diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, and other instructions to accurately assemble equipment and products.
  • Utilize hand-held tools and power tools for assembly tasks.
  • Maintain inventory of products at work stations.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure products meet quality standards.
  • Identify product defects and document them appropriately.
  • Rework or repair assembled equipment according to engineering specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area, ensuring rigorous housekeeping standards.
  • Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements as outlined in company policies.
  • Carry out any reasonable task as requested by the production team lead or production manager.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 1+ year of experience in small batch assembly production or manufacturing environment, preferably in flexible fluid transfer manufacturing.
  • Basic English written and communication skills are required.
  • Ability to measure accurately and pass the ruler test.
  • Ability to understand materials, processes, and procedures.
  • Ability to operate various tools and equipment including pumps, cranes, and forklifts.
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices.
  • Ability to use a personal computer or workstation.
  • Valid driver license and compliance with company driving policy.
  • Demonstrates good interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
