Overview

The Plant Production Laborer position at Arcosa Crushed Concrete involves performing various manual labor tasks to ensure safe and efficient operations within the plant. The role emphasizes adherence to safety regulations and offers opportunities for growth and career advancement.

Responsibilities

  • Follow all company safety policies and TCEQ environmental/OSHA safety regulations.
  • Perform daily maintenance inspections of the plant and equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report safety or maintenance issues.
  • Perform manual labor tasks to operate equipment for crushing concrete and removing debris.
  • Conduct repairs and maintenance throughout the plant, including screen changes and conveyor belt repairs.
  • Assist with plant operations by cleaning, washing, sweeping, and shoveling materials.
  • Cross-train and perform other jobs as needed to meet productivity objectives.
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned.

Requirements

  • Some experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Must be 18 years of age.
