Overview

The Engineering Technician II position involves performing field and laboratory testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials. The role requires effective communication with various stakeholders and adherence to safety standards while maintaining quality throughout the projects.

Responsibilities

  • Perform field and laboratory testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials.
  • Communicate with project managers, engineering technicians, and client representatives regarding project requirements.
  • Transport material samples to the laboratory for further testing and analysis.
  • Tabulate, prepare, and submit data and observations in written and digital reports.
  • Maintain and clean equipment, vehicles, and work areas.
  • Assist with scheduling and dispatch of technicians to project sites.
  • Adhere to strict safety standards and report any safety issues.
