Job Description

Overview

Join Weiss-Aug, a leader in precision manufacturing and innovation, as a Maintenance & Facilities Mechanic. This role involves supporting manufacturing operations by repairing and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment while adhering to safety procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains facilities for safe and efficient operations.
  • Responsible for repair and maintenance of building structures and grounds.
  • Interfaces with local municipalities regarding Fire and Security issues.
  • Repairs malfunctioning machinery and equipment.
  • Handles installation of new machinery and project planning.
  • Develops preventive maintenance procedures for all equipment.
  • Assists in coordinating and scheduling outside machine repairs.
  • Maintains equipment preventive and safety records.
  • Evaluates and diagnoses machine problems and develops corrective actions.
  • Provides guidance to other department personnel.
  • Assists in training of new hires and department transfers.
  • Develops corrective means and methods for continuous improvement.
  • Keeps accurate records on the in-house maintenance system 'PLEX'.

Requirements

  • H.S. graduate or equivalent.
  • 2-year technical school or trade school.
  • Hands-on maintenance of high precision manufacturing equipment.
  • Minimum 10 years facility and equipment maintenance experience.
  • Knowledge of ERP Systems.
