Job Description

Overview

Amazon is seeking a Prime Air Maintenance Technician to join their diverse and inclusive team focused on innovative drone delivery solutions. The role involves maintaining and servicing drones to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Drive time-based and condition-based maintenance activities.
  • Demonstrate understanding of fleet performance metrics.
  • Verify adherence to FAA regulations and Prime Air directives and processes.
  • Manage fleet spare parts and inventory.
  • Demonstrate proactive safety mindset in ambiguous situations.
  • Follow detailed instructions outlined in technical manuals.

Requirements

  • Experience in mechanical and electrical integration or assembly.
  • Can carry/lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach.
  • Travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Experience with common business applications and tools (i.e. Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, etc.).
