Overview

Our client, a leader in manufacturing and technical services, is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Provide maintenance, repair, and installation assistance for CNC machine tools on location or via telephone.
  • Create and update technical documentation and generate reports related to service activities.
  • Assist and train Customer’s Service Engineers on new product lines and maintenance procedures.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication and customer service relationships with clients.
  • Manage challenging customer situations professionally, respond promptly to needs, and solicit feedback for service improvement.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED; Associate Degree in a technical field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting of CNC machine tools.
  • Experience working with DMG or MORI SEIKI machines, Fanuc, Mitsubishi, or Siemens controls is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer service focus.
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and PLC ladder diagrams.
