Overview

The Threadline Attendant operates and assists in pipe threading according to plant policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and compliant operation during their shift.

Responsibilities

• Report to the immediate supervisor for briefing on daily tasks.
• Follow all PPE policies and safety rules as safety is the number one priority.
• Provide and assist with maintenance on the equipment being operated.
• Maintain good housekeeping ethics and keep the work area free of debris.
• Assist in the verification and recording of production and findings in the ERP System and/or required documents.
• Produce prime threads in conformance with required specifications.
• Ensure the product meets specifications throughout the threading process.
• Assist in clean-up, repair, and replacement of equipment during maintenance shutdowns.
• Communicate with the Threading Supervisor regarding any concerns or questions.
• Assist with changeovers.
• Help with documentation and technical devices for recording production and findings.
• Communicate any problems with material and equipment to the Supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• 1 year experience or on-the-job training preferred but not required.
• Knowledge and experience within the OCTG pipe manufacturing industry is preferable.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures is a plus but not required.
• Knowledge of threading processes, procedures, and technical instruments is a plus but not required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with a flexible schedule which may require overtime.
• Understand all applicable location safety rules and regulations.
