Overview

The Assembler 1 position involves performing a variety of assembly operations on electronic and electromechanical components. The role is full-time, based in Covina, and offers a pay range of $18 to $20 per hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of assembly operations and tasks on electronic or electromechanical components.
  • Perform complex and difficult assembly tasks.
  • Work from established prints, drawings, and work instructions.
  • Perform delicate placement and alignment of small components.
  • Perform wire bonding and hand soldering of small components.
  • Use soldering irons, crimping tools, and other special tooling as required.
  • Perform rework requiring similar assembly operations.
  • Work with very small components accurately and consistently on a repetitive basis.
  • Regularly use a microscope for assembly and inspection.

Requirements

  • Experience with electromechanical assembly and soldering.
  • Soldering certification is a plus.
  • Skilled and comfortable using small hand tools on a repetitive basis.
  • Available and looking for full-time hours.
  • Proactive about learning new skills and practicing your craft on the job.
  • Disciplined and accountable self-starter.
  • Able to work independently as well as effectively with others.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
