Overview

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing woodworking and industrial production equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Read schematics, technical drawings, and equipment manuals.
  • Document maintenance activities using computer systems.
  • Install, test, and calibrate machinery.
  • Respond to breakdowns and minimize downtime.
  • Follow OSHA and LOTO safety procedures.
  • Support production and equipment reliability.

Requirements

  • Industrial/woodworking equipment maintenance experience.
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic skills.
  • Computer and maintenance tracking system proficiency.
  • Experience with saws, edge banders, and production machinery.
  • Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a manufacturing environment.
  • English/Spanish bilingual preferred.
