Overview

Horizon Landscape is seeking an Experienced Mechanic for their Wyckoff, NJ location. This year-round position is ideal for a self-starter who can perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on fleet and small engine equipment, contributing to a company that values its employees and community.

Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on fleet and small engine equipment.
  • Service and repair cutoff saws, chainsaws, scag mowers, aerators, and 4-stroke and 2-cycle engines.
  • Troubleshoot electrical problems.
  • Change tires and perform light welding.
  • Maintain the shop and yard.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic.
  • Demonstrated experience in servicing and repairing passenger cars, pickup trucks, and 1-ton gas and diesel trucks.
  • Experience with medium-duty equipment such as skid loaders and excavators.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
