Overview

Arcosa Aggregates is seeking an Equipment Operator based out of Elizabeth, NJ to transport materials throughout the facility on day/night shifts. This role is responsible for maintaining efficient production flow and supporting site safety, environmental, and operational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Actively promote and support a safety conscious culture.
  • Follow all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Perform daily equipment greasing, morning walk arounds, and fluid checks.
  • Complete daily maintenance checklist to ensure proper equipment maintenance.
  • Adjust hand wheels and depress pedals to control attachments.
  • Operate machines such as bulldozers, excavators, wheel loaders, graders, and haul trucks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Prompt, regular, and predictable attendance.
  • Positive, team-based attitude.
  • Ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders, and catwalks up to 60 feet.
  • Ability to work in varied outdoor environments.
  • Very organized.
  • Good, detailed communication skills.
