Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated In-House Carpenter to join our team. This is a hands-on, field-based role supporting the upkeep, repair, and improvement of our facilities as well as select customer locations throughout the Greater Philadelphia area.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general carpentry, repair, and renovation work across multiple sites.
  • Complete finish carpentry, framing, trim work, and installation projects.
  • Install and repair windows, doors, kitchens, flooring, and siding.
  • Handle drywall repair, painting, and general building maintenance.
  • Support routine upkeep of building systems and facility infrastructure.
  • Assist with material and supply ordering for assigned projects.
  • Travel to Tague Lumber locations and customer sites throughout the Greater Philadelphia area.

Requirements

  • Strong background in carpentry and general construction work.
  • Experience with drywall repair and painting.
  • Experience with door and window installation/repair.
  • Experience with kitchen installation.
  • Experience with trim and finish carpentry.
  • Experience with flooring installation.
  • Experience with framing and basic structural work.
  • Experience with exterior siding repairs.
  • Experience with light electrical and plumbing work.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Solid mathematical skills for measuring and layout work.
  • Strong customer service and professional interaction skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work extended hours when needed.
  • Willingness to travel locally as required.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
