Job Description

Overview

Intertek is seeking a MT/PT/UTT/MFE Level II Technician to join their Industry Services team in Houston, TX. This role involves performing inspection activities to ensure compliance with codes and standards, providing a great opportunity for career growth in Asset Integrity Management.

Responsibilities

  • Perform ASNT Level II testing & inspection in UT-Thickness; MT and/or PT.
  • Conduct MFE floor scans for tank inspection.
  • Set up and calibrate equipment and interpret results according to applicable codes and standards.
  • Provide on-the-job training and guidance to assigned trainees and NDT Level I personnel.
  • Organize and report results of assigned NDT.
  • Maintain a client-focused attitude in all interactions.
  • Pursue continuing technical education courses or seminars.

Requirements

  • ASNT Level II certification in UT-Thickness; MT and/or PT.
  • MFE Certification required.
  • RT Level II Certification is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3+ years field experience preferred.
  • Hold a valid State card preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record preferred.
  • TWIC Card required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Able to pass a physical exam.
  • A mindset of safety first.
