Overview

The Kendall Group is a 100% employee-owned company with eight divisions and over 75 locations across ten states, serving various industries. The Assembler I role involves assembling and wiring non-energized, high-speed auxiliary relay panels under the guidance of the Production Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, and specifications to determine material requirements.
  • Assemble and wire devices in accordance with work instructions, physical drawings, wiring diagrams, and bill of materials.
  • Achieve and maintain minimum productivity rate as defined by management.
  • Use hand tools to drill, tap, crimp terminal lugs, cut and strip wire, and install equipment.
  • Confer with supervisor and engineers to review work activities and/or resolve production problems.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Entry Level work experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to read and understand point-to-point wiring diagrams and wire lists.
  • Basic math and reasoning skills.
  • Excellent work ethic and good verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to communicate well with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to lift/move/carry up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to be on your feet for 8 hours a day.
  • Ability to climb stairs and step ladders, bend, stoop, crouch, and kneel.

Additional Information

  • Ability to travel to and occasionally work at customer sites.
  • Ability to adhere to a flexible work schedule, including overtime, as required.
