Overview

Green Expert Technology Inc. (GreenXT) is seeking a Submarine Quality Assurance Specialist to support the SCEMS program, which ensures material integrity and SUBSAFE compliance for U.S. Navy submarines. The role involves providing technical and quality oversight to submarine systems and components prior to Fleet delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and conduct vendor oversight and surveillance of manufacturing, assembly, repair, and testing activities.
  • Perform material identification and inventory verification inspections of manufactured equipment and components.
  • Conduct on-site evaluations of vendor processes to assess compliance with technical specifications and quality standards.
  • Provide technical evaluation and troubleshooting of Submarine Sail Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical systems and equipment discrepancies.
  • Review, investigate, and adjudicate non-conformances and discrepancies during various phases of production.
  • Perform surveillance and oversight of shipboard and shop SUBSAFE work and testing.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute checklists and attribute guides for SUBSAFE audits.
  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 10% in support of vendor facilities and Navy activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Engineering and a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience, OR a High School diploma and 11+ years of progressive submarine-related experience.
  • U.S. Citizen with an active Secret clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance prior to start.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on Submarine Quality Assurance experience.
  • Formal training in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) in accordance with ASME Y14.5.
