Overview

Baker Hughes is seeking a Services Specialist - Commissioning to manage resources and logistics for maintenance activities on customer sites. This role involves testing, validation, and effective communication of findings to ensure operational success.

Responsibilities

  • Handle activities related to testing and validation of equipment according to design objectives.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations via reports and verbal communication.
  • Maintain calibration of specialized tools.
  • Follow standardized project processes and guidelines for decision-making.
  • Implement updated processes and procedures from other functions.
  • Work based on predefined contracts and frameworks.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in field maintenance, ideally in an industrial environment.
  • Experience in Low Voltage electrical troubleshooting.
  • Exposure to general networking practices/architectures.
  • Ability to travel 65-80% of the time by vehicle and air.
  • Computer literacy skills including Microsoft Office suite and Windows Operating Systems.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, applied engineering, or technology.
