Ingersoll Rand is seeking a skilled assembler to perform various tasks related to product assembly, ensuring all parts fit correctly and meet quality standards. Responsibilities

  • Perform repetitive progressive line assembly of parts and sub-assemblies.
  • Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit and fastening parts.
  • Read, understand, and apply method sheets, assembly diagrams, and blueprints.
  • Detect quality defects and unsafe conditions.
  • Follow all applicable safety rules and procedures.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
  • Read print drawings to determine dimensions, design, and materials.
  • Operate power pneumatic and hand tools.
  • Effectively use measuring devices such as tape measures and levels.
  • Maintain and inspect tools and equipment, creating work orders for repairs.
  • Perform general housekeeping of the work area.
  • Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock and placing orders.
  • Load and unload onto conveyors and carts, operating fork trucks and hoists.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • 1+ years of experience in Blueprint Reading.

  • Location: West Chester, PA.
  • Shift: 1st Shift (Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm).
