Overview

FormFactor, Inc. is a leading provider of essential test and measurement technologies for the semiconductor product life cycle. The MEI Technician role involves supporting the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of semiconductor manufacturing facilities and equipment, focusing on Mechanical, Electrical, and Infrastructure systems.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Facilities Equipment Installation and Construction Engineer in planning and managing the construction of critical facility infrastructure.
  • Oversee installation, commissioning, and upgrades of semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
  • Support the operation of utility systems such as CDA/N2/Ar, vacuum pumps, and ultrapure water systems.
  • Coordinate EPC contractors, equipment vendors, and internal engineering teams.
  • Ensure compliance with semiconductor industry standards for equipment installation and contamination management.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system faults.
  • Execute repairs and support root-cause analysis.
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance.
  • Follow EHS procedures including LOTO, chemical handling, and cleanroom protocols.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 - 4 years of related experience.
  • Skills in chillers, CMMS, control monitoring, electrical system troubleshooting, HVAC systems, mechanical drawings, piping, P&ID, pressure systems, problem solving, pump systems, valves, and wiring diagrams.
