Overview

Campos is seeking a Pipeline and Stations Engineer to join their Philadelphia team in a hybrid work environment. As a Mechanical Engineer II, you will support the engineering and design of natural gas pipelines and compressor stations, ensuring compliance with codes and standards while managing project costs and facilitating meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Design oil and gas pipelines, pipeline metering facilities, gas compression facilities, liquid pump stations, gas processing, dehydration, heaters, filter separators, and slug catchers.
  • Design hydrostatic tests and pipeline replacements.
  • Design hydrostatic tests for pipeline segments requiring a valid strength test to establish the maximum allowable operating pressure (MAOP).
  • Conduct pipe sizing calculations, valve sizing, hydrostatic test design, hydraulic design, compressor designs, and pump designs.
  • Interact with regulatory and permitting agencies and provide other pipeline engineering support.
  • Specify materials and equipment for purchase and write equipment specifications when required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree.
  • Valid Professional Engineer license preferred.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience, preferably in the oil & gas/utility industry.
  • Thorough knowledge of P&ID’s.
  • Good knowledge of industry codes and standards ASME/ANSI/API/NFPA/CSA codes.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and organization skills.
