Overview

SteelCon Inc. in Houston, TX is seeking a full-time Quality Control Manager - Structural Steel Fitter to ensure precision and accountability in every project. This role involves reviewing project drawings and collaborating with teams to maintain high standards before production begins.

Responsibilities

  • Review project drawings for dimensions, materials, and instructions.
  • Identify discrepancies and collaborate with project managers and design teams.
  • Verify bolt quantities and confirm specifications.
  • Prepare organized packages for the shop floor.
  • Maintain detailed records and track revisions.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in a coordination or technical role within a fabrication environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and material requirements.
  • Familiarity with equipment and facility processes.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred: Additional training or certifications in drafting, engineering, or manufacturing processes.
