Overview

The Caretaker P (HA) position involves mixing and applying plastering materials to various surfaces, performing dust control, and maintaining cleanliness. NYCHA encourages residents to apply and provides opportunities for career advancement.

Responsibilities

  • Mix plastering materials properly.
  • Apply plastering materials to interior and exterior surfaces using tools like hawk, trowel, Darby, and slicker.
  • Apply plaster coats including scratch, brown, and finish.
  • Lath and plaster bases such as channel iron and wire lath.
  • Perform dust control and clean up.
