Overview

Maxwell Social is a private members club and event venue seeking a reliable, skilled specialist for various projects, starting with ceiling upholstery installation in a guest-facing environment where attention to detail is crucial.

Responsibilities

  • Install ceiling upholstery with fabric over batting, ensuring attention to seams and corners.
  • Execute projects in a guest-facing environment with a focus on quality.
  • Assist with future projects including millwork touch-ups, banquette repairs, hanging and mounting, patching, and small builds.

Requirements

  • Proven hands-on experience in tented ceilings, upholstered walls, fabric wallcovering, or theatrical soft goods.
  • Strong attention to detail and high quality standards.
  • Must carry insurance or be able to provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI).
  • Flexible availability for work around the events calendar.
