Overview

Eisenback Equipment Sales, Inc. (EESI) is seeking an experienced Welder / Fitter to join their fabrication team in Camden, South Carolina. The company specializes in the fabrication of ASME pressure vessels, atmospheric tanks, and other engineered metal-fabricated products.

Responsibilities

  • Perform GTAW (TIG) / SMAW (stick) welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and specialty alloys.
  • Fit and weld pressure vessels, storage tanks, process equipment, and piping.
  • Perform vessel and tank fit-up, including shells, heads, nozzles, manways, flanges, fittings, supports, and other components.
  • Read and interpret fabrication drawings, weld symbols, dimensions, and specifications.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas and equipment.
  • Follow established safety procedures, welding procedures, job specifications, and quality requirements.
  • Perform other fabrication-related duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Experience fitting and welding tanks, pressure vessels, process equipment, piping, or heavy industrial fabrication preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand 2D fabrication drawings, weld symbols, dimensions, and specifications.
  • Strong understanding of weld fit-up, joint preparation, alignment, distortion control, and weld sequencing.
  • TIG (GTAW) welding experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to qualify for additional welding procedures and positions as required for EESI's fabrication work.
  • Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.

What you'll be running
