Overview

The Fabricator Engineer role involves collaborating with architects and private clients on high-end millwork projects, focusing on translating creative concepts into high-quality built environments. This position offers exposure to diverse design challenges and the opportunity to contribute to bespoke fabrications and high-end homes.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret technical drawings and CAD models.
  • Operate fabrication tools and machinery.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with fabrication techniques such as welding, cutting, assembly, and finishing.
  • Understanding of material properties for structural and aesthetic requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to safety practices and shop organization.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks.
  • Relevant technical training or degree in engineering, industrial design, or fabrication is preferred.
  • Previous experience in architectural fabrication or custom manufacturing is a plus.
