Overview

Agarthan Industries is a start-up machine shop focused on using AI agents and automation to reduce lead times. They are seeking a CNC machinist to update CAM setups and operate CNC machines to create and inspect parts.

Responsibilities

  • Review and update the CAM setup.
  • Run the CNC machine to create and inspect parts.

Requirements

  • Strong skills in Machine Operation and Machinery setup, including experience with CNC equipment.
  • Proficiency in Machining and Milling, with the ability to work from technical drawings and CAD/CAM outputs.
  • Experience in Quality Control, including measuring, inspecting, and documenting part conformity.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing safety standards and best practices in an industrial environment.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and work instructions with attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Previous experience as a CNC machinist or in precision manufacturing; technical or vocational training in machining is preferred.
