Job Description

Overview

The HVAC/Refrigeration and Facilities Technician will be responsible for the operations, maintenance, and repair of HVAC and refrigeration systems, ensuring the facility's efficiency and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform duties in the operations, maintenance, and repair of HVAC and refrigeration systems.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain building electrical/HVAC equipment.
  • Coordinate and perform repairs and preventive maintenance on facility and utility systems.
  • Complete daily work assignments from the Facilities Manager.
  • Ensure compliance with FDA, ISO, OSHA, and GMP regulations.
  • Communicate with department managers regarding maintenance actions.
  • Train Utilities/Facility Maintenance Technicians on repair and preventive maintenance activities.
  • Assist with revisions to standard operating procedures and work instructions.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
  • Three years of related experience and/or training.
  • EPA, HVAC Certification.
  • Minimum of three years of hands-on HVAC/Refrigeration experience.
  • Experience working in GMP environments.
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends if needed.
  • Strong background in troubleshooting electrical, refrigeration, and HVAC systems.
