Overview

The Construction Worker position at Lamar Advertising's Interstate Logos office in Peachtree Corners, GA involves installing and maintaining interstate logo signs. This role offers on-the-job training and requires a willingness to travel frequently for work.

Responsibilities

  • Install and maintain ground-mounted signs along controlled and non-controlled access roadways.
  • Drive to job locations using a company-provided truck.
  • Work with other Construction Workers on sign installation and maintenance.
  • Perform vegetation control related to ground-mounted signs.
  • Organize and clean warehouse space and supply yard area.

Requirements

  • High School Education or equivalent.
  • Driver’s license is required.
  • Commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with construction power/manual tools and basic construction equipment.
  • Ability to lift at least 100 pounds.
  • Skill in writing brief sentences for job reports.
  • Ability to work at heights of 20-30 feet.
  • Willingness to earn a National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO) certification upon hire.
