Overview

The Valve Technician II - Field/Shop position involves performing control valve repairs while ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality procedures. The role requires direct communication with customers and the ability to work autonomously in both field and shop environments.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a safe, secure and healthy environment by adhering to safety standards and practices.
  • Perform control valve repair in accordance with quality procedures.
  • Directly communicate with customers.
  • Work autonomously in the valve repair process.
  • Ensure compliance of diagnostic, testing, and repair reports with the quality system.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience required.
  • Control Valve Manufacturers Training Courses and/or certifications preferred.
  • Knowledge of HART Communicator or other diagnostic analyzer manufacturer required.
  • 0 to 30% minimum travel requirement.

Additional Information

  • Position is based out of a branch or site location.
  • Field duties require indoor and outdoor work in a plant atmosphere.
  • May be required to travel out of town on a periodic basis.

Compensation

  • Anticipated compensation for this role is $52,000.00 – $72,800.00 per year plus benefits.
