Overview

The Field Technician will serve as a Subject Matter Expert for the maintenance of Baggage Handling, Passenger Boarding Bridge, Security Screening Systems, and Ground Service Equipment at various airport locations. This role focuses on delivering technical services, enhancing the technical capabilities of the field staff, and ensuring quality maintenance and operations.

Responsibilities

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert in maintenance responsibilities.
• Provide hands-on technical services for temporary and permanent projects.
• Perform quality technical services and suggest improvements.
• Coordinate with the Director of Technical Services and Regional Managers.
• Train new employees on specific equipment and maintenance requirements.
• Support Operations team in a safe, customer-focused manner.
• Document work using software platforms.
• Maintain and improve preventative maintenance programs.
• Provide enriched feedback to enhance individual performance.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in maintenance and repair of Baggage Handling Systems, Passenger Boarding Bridges, Ground Service Equipment, and electrical automation systems.
• Excellent time management and interpersonal skills.
• Travel up to three weeks at a time.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High School Graduate.
• Proficient in MS Office, Excel, and Outlook.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable under the Company’s insurance policy.
• Must be able to pass a 10-year criminal history records check.

Additional Information

• Job is based in Carrollton, Texas, with the ability to work from a home office if not based in the DFW metroplex.
• Work schedule varies.
