Overview

The Painter Helper position involves assisting in the painting and preparation of valves while ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards. The role requires some experience in painting and sandblasting, along with the ability to operate machinery as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Strives to meet production schedules without sacrificing quality or health and safety standards.
  • Clean and wipe down valves.
  • Tape all ID tags and lever.
  • Put socket weld or buttweld covers on valves.
  • Prime valves and let dry.
  • Paint valves and let dry.
  • Remove all tape and blow off valves, ensuring they are free of dust and grit.
  • Clean lever and place valve on pallet.
  • May perform any other work-related functions as deemed necessary and appropriate by immediate supervisor.
  • Operate Forklift when needed.
  • Operate a blast cabinet for blasting small parts.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of Painter/Sandblasting experience.
