Overview

The Journeyman Mechanic will perform maintenance and repairs in order to maximize productivity and functionality in plant operations, requiring strong communication and operational skills with a focus on safety.

Responsibilities

  • Follow all procedures and policies regarding repairs and maintenance.
  • Complete assigned tasks and projects effectively, efficiently, and safely.
  • Support high performance in a professional healthcare and hospitality laundry environment.
  • Work with operations to maintain high equipment efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing problems.
  • Perform industrial equipment repair and maintenance.
  • Carry out construction tasks such as painting and patching.
  • Handle electrical tasks.
  • Manage plumbing tasks.
  • Work with electronics.

Requirements

  • Ability to complete mechanical or electrical tasks in an industrial environment.
  • Exhibit self-initiative, accountability, and flexibility.
