Overview

EquipmentShare is hiring a Field Technician (Mechanic) (Pump, Power & HVAC) to join their team at the Advanced Solutions rental facility in Phoenix, AZ. The company aims to transform the construction industry through innovative technology and real-time support, seeking individuals who are ready to grow and contribute to meaningful work.

Responsibilities

• Use technology to create, assign, and monitor work orders.
• Track machine service intervals and order parts.
• Diagnose issues using data from various makes and models.
• Practice safe job practices for repairing equipment.
• Travel to customer job sites for preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and on customer locations.
• Set up and operate equipment at the shop and on customer sites.
• Assist in training lower level technicians as needed.
• Maintain paperwork and electronic documentation of work performed.
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts.
• Be knowledgeable of OSHA requirements.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must own tools applicable to position.
• Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.
• Experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment.
• Experience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements.
• Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
• EPA 608 certification is preferred.
• High School diploma; Trade school certificate preferred.
• Experience in field service, maintenance, and repair preferred.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicle.
• Must be able to move, stand, stoop, and bend freely.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Additional Information

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Overtime pay after working 40 hours.
• On-call scheduling with additional compensation.
