Overview

Borrelli Construction, LLC / Borrelli Metal Buildings is a family-owned business specializing in the construction of structural steel, pre-engineered metal buildings, and post frame structures. They are seeking an experienced Ironworker / Metal Building Assembler to assist in erecting metal buildings and wood structures.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in erecting pre-engineered metal buildings and post frame wood structures.
  • Work with structural steel, metal roofing, and wall panel installation.
  • Perform wood and metal stud framing and insulation systems installation.
  • Read and interpret field erection and installation drawings.
  • Fabricate, frame, or install pre-engineered building systems.
  • Install metal wall panels, roof panels, and standing seam roof systems.
  • Maintain equipment and tools in good condition.
  • Rig materials for crane and forklift operations.
  • Ensure safety equipment is used and maintained properly.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in the construction industry.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Pass a pre-employment screening including background check, drug test, and physical.
  • Valid and clean driver's license; CDL is a plus.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
  • General knowledge of the construction industry.
  • Own tool belt, basic hand tools, and work boots.
  • Ability to work at heights of 30 feet or higher.
  • Capable of lifting 75 pounds or more.
  • Ability to climb ladders, stairs, and into equipment.

Additional Information

  • Full-time position.
  • Salary from $20.00 to $30.00 per hour based on experience.
  • Monday to Friday work schedule with 8-hour shifts.
  • Weekend work or overtime may be required.
  • 90-day probationary period before benefits are offered.
