Overview

Join Worldwide Flight Services as an OXF Mechanic, where you will contribute to the timely delivery of cargo shipments and on-time flights while ensuring safe and efficient operations. Responsibilities

  • Maintain superior customer service and safe working practices at all times.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machinery and electrical equipment according to specifications.
  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Communicate with various parties regarding work performed and status of systems.
  • Analyze root causes of electrical failures and propose remedies.
  • Interpret schematics and engineering drawings for system layout and operation.
  • React to call outs from the Control Room Operator or manager for service calls.
  • Perform preventive maintenance including inspection, adjustment, and cleaning.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma, GED or Equivalent.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule for a 24/7 operation.
  • Background check and drug screen required.
  • Must be able to attain and sustain an Airport I.D. Badge.
  • Experience in an industrial environment or minimum 1 year as a maintenance mechanic.
  • Proven experience as a Welder with relevant work experience.
