The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for executing mechanical engineering and design activities for various projects, ensuring deliverables are technically accurate and compliant with project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and support mechanical engineering deliverables such as specifications, datasheets, calculations, and technical reports.
• Support mechanical design activities for mechanical packages, rotating equipment, and static equipment under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Review vendor and subcontractor documents, including datasheets, P&IDs, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate technical interfaces with multidisciplinary project teams.
• Check mechanical deliverables for compliance with project specifications and applicable codes.
• Support feasibility studies, pre-FEED, FEED, detailed engineering, and construction support activities.
• Identify technical issues and support resolution of mechanical engineering concerns.
• Maintain accurate engineering records and document review status.
• Contribute to quality control of mechanical engineering deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5–8 years of mechanical engineering experience in relevant projects.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical package equipment and vendor document review.
• Working knowledge of mechanical engineering practices and industry codes.
• Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and project stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage assigned tasks and meet deadlines.
• English communication skills for technical coordination and reporting.
