salary: $60,000 - $60,001 per year shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

• Train & Onboard: Design and execute hands-on MIG welding training programs for all new production hires across both manufacturing facilities.
• Assess & Test: Administer physical and written weld tests for new hires to evaluate pass/fail criteria and determine readiness for the shop floor.

• Complex Projects: Step in to assist with high-complexity, large-scale MIG welding builds and specialized custom steel fabrication projects.

• Skill Evaluation: Assess trainee progress, inspect weld quality and joint integrity, and provide actionable, constructive feedback to optimize team performance.

• Standard Enforcement: Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, AWS standards, PPE compliance, and OSHA guidelines within the shop floor environment.

• Continuous Improvement: Partner with plant supervisors and CNC machining teams to refine fabrication processes, reduce rework, and enhance production output.

• Cross-Facility Support: Split time effectively between both local plants to ensure consistent training quality and seamless operational support.
