Overview

Mechanical Dynamics and Analysis LLC, a supplier of power generation services, is seeking both entry-level and experienced machinists (Blenders) for bucket/blader precision turbine machining. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a non-climate environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform setups and adjustments, and operate shop and portable machine tools to repair turbine components.
  • Maintain and complete all documentation associated with work assignments according to established procedures.
  • Perform alloy metals blending for highly engineered turbine parts.
  • Install and machine various types of turbine buckets and blades.
  • Evaluate bucket conditions at job sites to establish required repairs.
  • Explain and discuss needed repairs, schedules, and man loading with customers.
  • Follow detailed work instructions and safety protocols.
  • Function as a cross-functional team member and demonstrate gas turbine blending process skills.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be available to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, and mandatory overtime.
  • Knowledge of arithmetic, basic geometry, and their applications.
  • Experience: No experience required for level I, minimum 2 years for level II, and minimum 5 years for level III.
