Overview

Quality Packaging (Qual Pac) is seeking a Maintenance Technician for their 1st shift operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a passion for innovation, and the ability to collaborate effectively with a team.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on mechanical handling equipment.
  • Document records of maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
  • Select repair parts and update parts records.
  • Repair mechanical damage and replace defective parts.
  • Maintain and repair batteries and chargers.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, and other maintenance situations.
  • Read and interpret schematics and equipment manuals.
  • Use mechanical hand tools and measuring instruments.
  • Comply with OSHA Safety and Health regulations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma and 5 years equivalent experience.
  • Strong electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Understanding of high-voltage wiring (480V 3-phase motors).
  • Experience with multi-craft maintenance and repair.
  • Basic computer skills including use of Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with C.M.M.S. software.
  • Understanding of encoders and equipment timing.
  • Knowledge of Servo drives and motors.
  • Basic knowledge of logic software.

  • 1st shift: 7:00am to 4:00pm.
  • Located in Grand Prairie, Texas.
