Overview

Mi-Tech Services, Inc. is a full-service engineering, design, and construction services firm that provides comprehensive support for utility, infrastructure, and heavy civil projects. The Oil and Gas Pipeline Engineer is responsible for the design, analysis, and integrity of piping systems for oil, gas, and water operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Design and analyze piping systems for oil, gas, and water conveyance.
  • Develop efficient piping layouts and perform hydraulic and stress analyses.
  • Review P&IDs and isometric drawings.
  • Ensure systems meet ASME, API, ASTM, and water-industry standards.
  • Support fabrication, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure compliance with project requirements and HSE regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related engineering field.
  • 5+ years of relevant engineering experience.
  • Experience with oil and gas and/or water piping design.
  • Ability to interpret P&IDs, isometric drawings, and construction drawings.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, CADWorx, or similar design software desired.
  • Experience with CAESAR II strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of ASME B31.3, applicable API codes, and water pipeline design standards.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to accommodate occasional travel for meetings and site visits.
  • Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
