Overview

The Installer Medical Equipment (Travel required) position involves safely assembling, erecting, and installing structural steel systems and related building components for Southwest Building Solutions projects. This role is crucial for delivering high-quality construction while ensuring safety and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and erect pre-engineered metal building systems according to construction drawings and manufacturer specifications.
  • Install roof systems, wall panels, trim, insulation, doors, windows, vents, and related building components.
  • Verify proper fit and alignment during installation.
  • Read and interpret construction drawings and installation details.
  • Assist with structural steel alignment, bolting, and final assembly.
  • Safely guide structural components during crane operations.
  • Assemble rigging and hoisting equipment following safety procedures.
  • Assist with field modifications approved by project leadership.
  • Safely operate aerial lifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, forklifts, and telehandlers.
  • Perform daily equipment inspections before operation.
  • Report equipment deficiencies immediately.
  • Complete work according to company quality standards and project specifications.
  • Participate in punch list completion and final quality inspections.
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas throughout each project.
  • Load, unload, stage, and organize construction materials.
  • Safely move materials using approved equipment and rigging methods.
  • Communicate professionally with team members and project leaders.
  • Participate in company training and skills development opportunities.

Additional Information

  • This position operates primarily on active construction jobsites throughout Arizona.
  • May work overtime, weekends, and overnight travel as project schedules require.
