Overview

Storyteller Overland is seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator with strong aluminum TIG welding experience to join their growing fabrication team. The role involves building structural and cosmetic components for adventure vehicles in a values-based culture that emphasizes transformation and creativity.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate custom parts and components with a focus on high-quality aluminum TIG welding
  • Perform MIG welding and light steel fabrication as needed
  • Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to create precise, reliable parts
  • Operate shop tools such as band saws, chop saws, plasma cutters, grinders, tube benders, and drill presses
  • Assemble and fit fabricated parts into vehicle builds with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Collaborate with design and production teams to prototype and refine custom components
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace and follow all shop safety protocols
  • Provide input on design improvements based on fabrication experience and field use
  • Uphold Storyteller’s reputation by building products with care and precision

  • Work schedule is Monday - Thursday 6:30am - 5:00pm
  • Position is non-exempt

What you'll be running

This posting calls for MIG and TIG work. MIG (GMAW) feeds a continuous wire electrode through a shielding-gas nozzle.
