Overview

L3Harris is seeking a Propulsion Products Specialist for its Canoga Park, CA facility, which produces propulsion components and systems for various contracts. The role involves assembling, repairing, and testing propulsion products while ensuring adherence to engineering requirements and performance standards.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, repair, and test mechanical, pneumatic, plumbing, electrical, and instrumentation elements of propulsion products.
  • Use hand tools and precision measuring instruments to modify components to required tolerances.
  • Perform assembly tasks including safety wiring, O-ring inspection, and torque wrench application.
  • Operate pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic test equipment to perform tests on propulsion products.
  • Interpret planning documents and engineering orders to determine assembly and testing methods.
  • Record information manually or using a computer-based system.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance.
